The 21-city outing will run through late August and end on the West Coast; details are below. The group will also co-headline the July 11 Rocklahoma Festival in Pryor, OK, in advance of the tour."As much as we enjoy recording, for me, I've always loved playing live for the fans," Cherone said in a press release. "We can't wait to get out there and play this music.""Saudades de Rock," the band's fifth studio album and first since 1996's "Waiting for the Punchline," still awaits a proper release date, but will appear sometime in June, according to the band. The set was produced by Bettencourt and recorded in Los Angeles."We wanted to record as much of the new album as possible live in the studio," added Bettencourt. "And because of it, these songs will translate easily to the stage. We're really looking forward to getting out on tour, putting on a show. That's really where the band shines."During its original incarnation, Extreme released four studio albums and two greatest-hits collections, and racked up total sales of more than 10 million records, according to a press release. The band began playing together again in 2004 for the first time in eight years.Since parting ways in 1996, Extreme's members have tackled several other projects, most notably Cherone, who briefly fronted Van Halen; that union yielded the 1998 album "Van Halen 3," a set that received a lukewarm reaction from the public. Following the group's world tour behind the disc, Cherone jumped ship and went on to form Tribe of Judah with Badger and one-time Extreme drummer Mike Mangini. That group released one album: 2002's "Exit Elvis."

Fresh York, April 16 -- SONY BMG Masterworks and Zenph(R)
Studios announce the June 3 passing of Artistry Tatum's "Pianoforte Starts Here," the
instant recording in a series of discs that represent a milestone in the
history of recorded music.

Art Tatum's "Pianissimo Starts Here" album contains textile that has been
in print for more than 50 old age. Even the archetype, an incomparable jazz
album that highlights the supremacy of this singular musician, had been
marred by noun phrase sound quality and other imperfections -- until now.

Zenph's unique technique turns audio recordings into live performances
that precisely replicate the master copy recording, merely proffer vastly improved
sound character. Listeners are transported back to the moment of existence and
know Tatum's playing as if they were in the room when the original
recordings were made.

Zenph captures the musical theater nuances of the original recording, with
details about the pedal actions, volume and articulations polish to
millisecond timings. This freshly digital data, transcribed into
high-resolution Midi files, was played back on a state of the art Yamaha
Disklavier Pro(TM) concert 1000 forte-piano. The process allows for the
production of pristine newly renderings that top the limitations of the
master copy recording process.

Last year, Sony BMG and Zenph Studios re-recorded Tatum's 1949 concert
at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. They placed the piano on the same
phase in the same spot that Art Tatum played and recorded a flawless
re-performance on bodoni equipment earlier a survive hearing.

The master album includes ennead virtuosic solos Art Tatum recorded survive at
The Shrine, along with Tatum's first 4 commercial recordings from 1933,
issued on 78 revolutions per minute masters by the Braunschweig label, including "Tiger Devil" --
considered to be his key signature performance. This yr first Baron Marks of Broughton the 75th
day of remembrance of those watershed studio recordings.

SONY BMG's new disc is a hybrid surround-sound SACD/CD saucer, which
plays on all traditional CD players and sounds magnificent on Superintendent Audio
(SACD) players. It besides includes a binaural reading of the re-performance
that provides an immersive feel. When listened to with headphones, it
replicates what Edward Lawrie Tatum would have heard spell he sabbatum on the pianoforte bench.

The Zenph re-performance besides corrects several problems with the
pilot album. For i thing, playback speed was to a fault slow up on 12 of the 13
tracks, so later on Zenph fixed the tempo, you hear that Edward Lawrie Tatum actually played
faster than has been thought.

And, thanks to Edward Lawrie Tatum discographer Matthew Arnold Laubich, Zenph has restored
or so iI proceedings of doomed material. The original record album omits excerpts from
Gershwin's "Scup and Bess," which Edward Lawrie Tatum performed at the concert during
the running now titled "The Man I Lovemaking." Zenph as well fixed an 80 millisecond
tape glitch during "Humoresque" that red Planet the timing on the archetype record album.

SONY BMG assembled its summit producers and engineers for the Edward Lawrie Tatum
send off, including Steve Sir Jacob Epstein, five-time Grammy(R) Award achiever for
"Producer of the Year," Richard Big businessman, a three-time Grammy(R) achiever, and
Gus Skinas, renowned for his expertness in high-resolution surround-sound
recording. Pianissimo voicer Marc Wienert is the main topic of the acclaimed
word of God Grand Fixation by Perri Knize.

The Tatum CD is a follow up to the profusely-praised re-performance of
pianist John Herschel Glenn Jr. Gould's 1955 interpretation of the Bach Rube Goldberg Variations. "A
technological miracle," observed the Wall Street Journal. "I cannot over
urge [the Jay Gould release] excessively highly," wrote The Audiophile Voice. "You
are in for a life-altering live."

Hailed worldwide, Zenph's work was named unity of the "Best Ideas of the
Year" by The Fresh York Times Magazine publisher and has been featured in The Wall
Street Journal, The Los Angeles Multiplication, The Capital Post, Stereophile,
The Absolute Audio, Subject Public Radio set and the BBC.
